My themes as an artist arise from a curiosity and wonder of the physical, emotional, spiritual and historical world around me. Some of my paintings portray realism and are narrative works, while other abstract paintings portray feelings, or a fascination with colour, shape, texture and compositional designs.

Humanity has always kept connected over time through the arts. Art is a chronology of human existence and it is through these visual arts, drama, music, writing and culture that our daily lives are expressed for future generations. We all interpret our world differently and each of us expresses our interaction with this world uniquely through some form of communication.

Art is a voice.
It is a message.
It is a universal language.
It is an emotion.
It is a captured moment.
It is a healer.
It is a process.
It is a question.
It can be an answer.

Art is a bond connecting all people from all places, at all times. It is a form of meditation allowing something that exists internally to come out externally. Art is a freedom, where no limitations or boundaries exist.

Art is humanity.
